Colin Palmer-Brown, B.A (Hons) (Director) Colin founded Pre-Construct Archaeology with his brother, Gary Brown in 1993, shortly after the introduction of PPG16 (Gary is now Managing Director of Pre-Construct Archaeology Ltd). In 1999, Colin set up Pre-Construct Geophysics with David Bunn and has remained at the heart of strategic planning and development within both businesses ever since. He recently became a Director of Pre-Construct Archaeological Services Ltd. and is responsible primarily for quality control, financial management and publication. He has a personal interest in research-orientated archaeology. Email

Helen Palmer-Brown, (Director) Helen was formerly employed at the City of Lincoln Archaeology Unit, where she was a full-time Publications Officer. She became a partner at Pre-Construct Archaeology (Lincoln) in 1997 and is now a Director of Pre-Construct Archaeological Services Ltd. Her role centres on project management, staff salaries and project support. She is the production editor for the PCA monograph series. Email

Will Munford, B.A (Joint Hons) (Senior Manager) After graduating from university, Will developed a solid understanding of archaeological fieldwork and post-excavation. He joined PCA (Lincoln) in 2003 as a Project Officer, being promoted to Contracts Manager in 2006. He left the company briefly to become an Archaeological Consultant: returning as Senior Manager in 2008. He is responsible for general management and the design and logistical management of archaeological schemes. Email

Simon Savage, B.A (Hons) (Field Officer) With more than twenty years experience, Simon is a seasoned field archaeologist and the longest serving employee of PCA. Joining the company in 2001 as a Project Officer, he has undertaken a diverse range of archaeological projects and has developed an equally varied range of skills: most notably surveying within a plethora of environments. Simon is responsible for all of our historic building surveys and he also directs many of the more challenging archaeological schemes. Email

Mike Rowe, B.A (Hons) (Field Officer) After graduating with a first class honours degree, Mike worked in the south-west of England as a Project officer for six years, before joining PCA in 2007. He has an extensive understanding of archaeology, particularaly within the development framework and is therefore a key member of the team. Email

Laura Keal, B.A (Hons),MSc (Human Osteologist) Initially, Laura was employed on one of our larger excavations in 2006, where (having graduated with an MSc in human osteology) she recorded a complex sequence of burial remains. Since then, she has been involved in a variety of fieldwork and post-excavation schemes, although human osteology and funerary archaeology remains her primary interest and specialism. Laura is preparing a number of publication reports and is available to take on work from other arcaeological contractors and consultants. Email
